Reinrassige Kätzchen aus der Royal British Cattery, bereit zum Umzug?
If you're looking for a fully socialized cat, spoiled to the max, and cared for from the very first moments of its life, raised around children, you've come to the right place. ?
At our cattery, we prioritize proper socialization and the health of our cats, so our kittens are pampered and handled from the very first day. All our cats with us in our home and participate in our daily life, and we surround them with love every day. During their time at our cattery, the kittens also learn to use a scratching post, water fountain, electronic feeder, and self-cleaning litter box. Our kittens don't leave home until they are 15-16 weeks old, which is the optimal age for behavioral reasons. At this age, kittens are fully prepared for a new home, which usually goes smoothly.
This means that all our cats are extremely sociable, demanding petting and contact with their humans.
All our cats are under the constant care of a trusted veterinarian who works with our cattery. This ensures that all our cats and kittens are healthy. We also care about the health of your future kittens; all our breeding cats are free of the genetic disorder polycystic kidney disease (PKD), which has been confirmed by genetic testing. Our breeding cats are also free of infectious diseases such as feline leukemia (FelV) and feline AIDS (FIV).
Kittens born in our cattery undergo a full vaccination and deworming program before moving to their new home. The kittens receive the basic vaccination and deworming program while still at the cattery. All kittens are dewormed twice with a product that targets roundworms and tapeworms, and vaccinated twice against infectious diseases (herpesvirus ? FHV, calicivirus ? FCV, and panleukopenia ? FPV). We currently use the mildly effective Pyrantel for deworming, and Purevax RCP for vaccinations.
In the first few to several weeks of life, kittens develop passive immunity from their mother's milk, which protects them from disease during this period. At the same time, antibodies transmitted by the mother can neutralize the viruses administered in the vaccine, making it difficult for the kittens to develop their own active immunity. Therefore, it is crucial to administer the third dose of the vaccine between 16 and 20 weeks of age. For the kittens' well-being, we do not perform early neutering, as hormones are essential for their development. However, we do require new owners to have this procedure performed around 12 months of age (a contract is signed, along with a note on the pedigree stating that the kitten is not suitable for breeding).
All kittens born in our cattery receive a five-generation FPL pedigree, recognized worldwide. This gives you the assurance that when you purchase a kitten from our cattery, you are receiving a fully purebred kitten with a confirmed pedigree. The pedigree includes a chip number for each kitten, which you will receive with the kitten. Then, you must register the chip and owner's details on the safe-animal.eu website (an international animal database). These steps are optional. We offer discount codes for registration.
Litters at our cattery come from pairs carefully selected for British type, personality, and pedigree ? this allows us to breed increasingly beautiful British Shorthair cats.
